Process Engineer/Senior Process Engineer
Biowater Technology seeks an enthusiastic individual motivated by engineering the best process solutions for wastewater treatment. The unique position offered by our company involves every step of solution development and implementation, from wastewater analysis and piloting to design, commissioning and optimisation.
Biowater’s own technologies include:
Aerobic technologies: MBBR, advanced MBBR and fixed film activated sludge.
Anaerobic technologies including EGSB and our own patented hybrid anaerobic aerobic solutions.
A prior knowledge of these technologies is a distinct advantage.
In addition to the above process engineers will also work with pretreatment, post treatment and sludge handling technologies in order to develop and propose a complete solution.
Process engineer (+3 years experience), senior engineer (+7 year experience) and managing engineer candidates (+10 year experience) are all of interest.
Responsibilities:
- Process / Concept developments
- Carry out process design work for our technologies including:
- Process flow diagrams
- Reactor sizing calculations
- Mass balance Process and instrumentation diagrams
- Process descriptions
- Functional descriptions
- Support/lead process commissioning on site including influent and effluent sampling and
- analysis
- Support tendering with basic cost calculation and sampling of wastewater
- Support efforts regarding knowledge management, papers, reports and patents and funded
- opportunities.
- Manage R&D works including lab scale, container scale and full scale pilots.
- Support customers in the operation of technologies after handover.
- Project Engineering support and introduction to project management:
- Carry out works in support of projects including package leading, commissioning support,
- troubleshooting of problems.
- Production of handover documentation for projects
- Building time plans, basic schematic drawings and arrangement drawings
- Carrying out basic mechanical design work for projects
- Supporting procurement activities including Invitation to Tender production, evaluation of
- quotations and production of procurement documentation
- Business development / after sales engineer
- Following up with customers post project completion, and optimising process performance..
- Attending exhibitions, seminars and conferences
